Connections

From Connections users link their social accounts, then publish or schedule any library video to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram — without leaving Tokify.

Linking accounts

Each user opens Connections and links the platforms they own with OAuth (one click; no API keys for the user). Access and refresh tokens are stored encrypted in the database.

Admin setup: you provide the OAuth app credentials for each network once in Admin → Settings. Social posting is a per-plan feature, so it can be reserved for paid tiers.

Publishing & scheduling

  1. Open the Library and choose a video.
  2. Press Publish / Schedule.
  3. Pick the linked account, write a caption and hashtags.
  4. Choose Publish now or set a date & time to Schedule.

Scheduled posts are published by the background worker when they come due (atomic claim, so a post is never sent twice). See Cron & worker to make scheduling reliable.

Token health

If a network revokes access or a token expires, the user simply re-links the account from Connections. Tokens are refreshed automatically while valid.
